This webinar will examine the rationale and research behind Sound Walls and their use in the
classroom.

The phonemes (speech sounds) of English and a demonstration their characteristics will be explored.
The webinar will also showcase ‘Sound it Out!’, a complete Sound Wall resource for the Junior
classroom.

The author, Deirdre O’Toole will present the five elements of the pack: Sound Wall cards, Spelling
cards, Teacher’s Manual, Flipbook, and Practice Book. Participants will receive an evaluation pack
of the resource.
