Our World Irish Aid Webinar Tuesday 21st March 2023
The Our World Irish Aid Awards gives children around Ireland the chance to learn more about children and their families in the developing world and how Ireland, through Irish Aid, and the United Nations are working to create a safer and fairer world, and a better future for the world's children. The theme of this year’s Awards is ‘Equality for All’.
Using our Equality for All pupil’s magazine and pre prepared lesson plans, teachers can support children to work on a creative piece showcasing what they have learned or what inspired them. Children can use writing, artwork, music or film and submit their work for a chance to feature in our Global Goal Getters online multi-media magazines, by kids, for kids. The deadline date for entry to the Our World Irish Aid Awards Programme is Friday March 31st!
This evening session will broaden the knowledge base of teachers with regard to this valuable programme. We will explain the awards to teachers and show them the resources available to support them when engaging with the awards in their classroom. Teachers will also have to opportunity to ask questions.
