As a way of carrying on her work, the Education Centre has brought together friends and family in a bi-annual ‘Meitheal’ (this is the gaelic word for a workgroup of neighbours coming together to help one another, particularly with the harvest). Since beginning in February 2009 we have planted over 120 additional trees; spread mulch; cleared paths; planted bluebells and snowdrops, and in the process we have enjoyed ourselves enormously.
