- What is TEST-2R?
- TEST-2R is an acronym for Trinity Early Screening Test – Reading and Writing. It is a research project originating in Trinity College Dublin, which aims to create an Irish-normed screening instrument to detect the risk of literacy failure, something which currently doesn’t exist.
- Something Fishy
- Explore water as a habitat and the life of Bradán, the salmon. Also deals with nutrition and provides an introduction to angling. Tá leagan iomlán Gaeilge ar fáil.
- Write a Book
- All you need to know about how to introduce your class to this very successful children’s writing project. Tá leagan iomlán Gaeilge ar fáil.
- Trails
- Trails: explore and map a local environment. How to create a structured walk, focussing on points of interest. Topics may include Environmental Studies, History, Geography, Science, Mathematics, Technology and the Arts.
- Marian's wood
- A place for relaxation and learning. Marian’s Wood is a native woodland being cultivated to the rear of Blackrock Education Centre in memory of our good friend Marian Rollins. Marian was an inspirational advocate of environmental and scientific education and her premature death robbed us of a wonderful friend and leader.
- Ringo - recycling with Éanna Ní Lamhna
- A website developed by Blackrock Education Centre for teachers and pupils within Irish Primary Schools.

- Imaginative, activity-based approach to environmental education using everyday materials.
