Course Objectives

 

This course aims to enable participants to:

  • Understand the e-Learning planning process
  • Become aware of the range of resources available to support this process, and how to use them
  • Develop an action plan for the development of e-Learning in their own school

 

Course Content

 

The course, using the e-Learning Handbook (supplied to each school) for reference, will look at:

  • The e-Learning Planning Cycle
  • Using the e-Learning Roadmap
  • Introduction to the e-Learning Action Plan
  • Other NCTE resources available to assist in the development of the e-Learning Plan

Please note: Participants should bring their school’s e-Learning Handbook to this course

 

Prerequisites

None (this is not a skills-based ICT course)

Target group

Primary and post primary principals, ICT co-ordinating teachers and all other teachers interested in starting the development of their school’s e-Learning plan
