- This course will be presented by our 'Making the Computer Work for You' tutor, Bridget Suttle. It will consist of 2 introductory sessions (1 - PCs and File Management and 2 - Creating & Using ICT Resources for Literacy. - Creating & Using ICT Resources for Literacy
- This 20 hour course is aimed at schools interested in equipping teachers with the skills required to create and use ICT resources in the primary classroom which support literacy development. NB: All of the technologies covered in the course are suitable for use with the interactive whiteboard.
- ICT & Maths - Part 2
- Using dynamic mathematics software to support the teaching of Strands 3, 4 and 5 of the post-primary mathematics curriculum. The aim of the “ICT & Maths - Part 2” course is to enable teachers to use ICT and mathematics software to support the teaching of Strands 3, 4 and 5 of the post-primary mathematics curriculum. Designed by the Project Maths Development Team in collaboration with NCTE the course is the second in a series of ICT & Maths courses on the use of free dynamic mathematics software to support the teaching of Strand 3 (Number), Strand 4 (Algebra) and Strand 5 (Functions).
- Computer maintenance and useful applications for creating teaching resources (NCTE/T4)
- The aim of the "Computer maintenance and useful applications for creating teaching resources" course is to enable teachers to develop their own teaching resources to meet their own particular needs. Designed by T4 in collaboration with NCTE for the post primary Design and Communication Graphics and Technology syllabuses, this course has relevance to teachers in the primary sector also.
